Star Venom is a 3D rail shooter by the guys at KobeDenshi.

The gameplay is straightforward, but differs a bit from most rail shooters, destroy every UFO that comes up on the screen and dodge their shots. You will also see asteroids in your path, but they don't really need to be avoided since you will just go through them. At the end of each level you will find a boss. At the bottom left hand corner there are 2 bars, the upper one is your life bar and the bottom one is your special one.

The control scheme is simple too. You both aim and move with the mouse, making dodging and shooting at the same time impossible. To shoot you have to press the Space Bar. There are also some maneuvers you can do in order to dodge bullets more easily. You choose them with Q and E, you will see their names in the grey box on top of the life bar. And you perform them by pressing S. Sadly, they are all the same one. They drain out of your Special Bar.

Visually, the graphics are a little bit repetitive. But the gameplay is fast, so you won't have much time to notice.
