Chris Remo at Gamasutra recently put up this article taking a look at Dylan Fitterer's (AudioSurf creator) talk at Valve's recent press event at Bellevue, Washington. Taking a look at the game itself, and the opportunities the PC offers at a platform and digital distribution.
Rather than speaking about specific development issues, Fitterer's postmortem of Audiosurf decided to address why he stuck with the PC platform rather than try to jump over to a console-based download service, and how Steam helped him make the game financially viable.
Head over to read the article.
Recently, I read a lot of things praising digital distribution. Particularly Steam.
